(PS. If you’re a chef we can grow to order next season if there are pumpkins you’d especially love on your menu).\nIf you are a Grower at home\, the allotment or commercially – pumpkins take up valuable space so you want to be sure you’re growing ones you love and that give you enough food for your labour of love.\n\n(PS. Kids and younger palates are very welcome\, but they might get a little bored depending on how much they are into food) \nPricing\nWe are asking that you make a donation for a ticket to join us – this will go towards helping us cover the cost of our time to grow\, prepare and share the produce and also supports the work of the farm co-op. \nIn line with our Community Supported Agriculture Veg pricing we are offering suggested donations to join us on a solidarity pricing model. \nThose who can are encouraged to pay a little more for their ticket\, and those who need it are encouraged to accept a discount. The idea is that by paying on a sliding scale\, we hope to foster more justice\, equity and diversity in our food system and society. \nIf you think you might be able to pay a little more for your ticket please ‘offer solidarity’. If you feel that you need a discount please select a discounted or free ticket. This year we will be sowing two of the agroforestry alleys with the Granton Rouge D’Ecosse wheat\, as well as a landrace of mixed bere\, oats and rye\, originally from the Outer Hebrides. We will also be sowing black oats\, and a wide variety of wheat trials in the Market Garden. All hands needed – we’ve got loads of seeds to go over a lot of ground\, and it feels great to work as a big group. And no experience needed – you’ll get the hang of it in no time. DESCRIPTION:Come and celebrate harvest and the land with us – on the farm this year we harvested a cornucopia of vegetables and our first grains! The event won’t be on the same scale as last year* but we will have music\, food\, crafts and activities for all to enjoy. \nWe are looking for Volunteers to come and help out on the day – if you would like to come and give us a helping hand on the day with set up/take down/refreshments please click here to sign up for helping run it on the day. \n(*Last year’s Harvest Festival was the culmination of a whole season-long project with an extra farm hand\, funded by Dandelion. This will be a little more homespun\, but no less sweet for that.) \nBooking & travel\nThe Harvest Celebration is free and drop-in\, no need to book. But\, if you want to guarantee a seat for the show ‘Arise’  (2pm-3pm) you can reserve one in advance – see below. \nTo get here\, please use public transport\, walk\, wheel or cycle if you can. Local residents of all species would really appreciate it.
