SUMMARY:Birdsong Survey Walk
DESCRIPTION:This spring\, for the fifth year\, Prof John Frank will lead Birdsong Identification Walks around the periphery of Lauriston Farm\, once a month from March to June. These walks are a survey – to count the bird species on the farm\, which is important information for the co-op as we work to increase biodiversity\, and John also uploads the survey results to the national Breeding Bird Survey. \nYou don’t need to know birdsong to be able to attend – John will teach the group how to use the Merlin app for smart phones\, so beginners are more than welcome; it’s a great chance to learn. \nSign up to join the March survey walk here: https://volunteersignup.org/WLJJF
