Deadlines Extended for the Directors Positions and the Communications Person

We have extended the deadlines for the roles that we are currently hiring for. More information is in the previous blogs.

But in brief: 
2 Directors: We are looking to recruit 2 external Directors to join our team and offer support and advice in two areas. Specifically we are looking for (1) expertise in employment and HR and (2) business development expertise particularly in relation to food growing. Time commitment required would be attending 2 x 1.5 hour EAC meetings per month with some preparation time to provide guidance and assist in setting up systems for efficient and effective functioning. 
If you are interested and would like to know more and meet the team please get in touch. Note that these positions would be voluntary, however travel expenses associated with farm meetings and activities can be reimbursed.

Communications Volunteer: The main aim is to communicate information about the farm project through a range of mathods, in an engaging and interesting way. The primary modes of communication will be the new website, monthly newsletter, press releases, social media, signage and flyers. There will also be targeted comms with specific groups or particular pieces of written text or visual content for other relevant websites or associated organisations. This may include helping with audiovisual comms - such as filming, photography, podcast projects and crowdfunding campaigns. As the Farm project progresses, there will be more targeted comms generated from activities such as veg box sales, workshops,events and plant/flower sales.
