Edinburgh Agroecology Co-op Policies

Here are our policy statements on some key areas of our work. We have many more policies than are on here, and most have detailed procedures to go with them – if you’re looking for something specific, please contact us for a copy. If you’re working or volunteering at the farm, we’ll give you access to the full versions you need…

Measuring Our Impact

A 2023 study by consultants One Stone found that the farm project was already having a hugely beneficial impact in the community after just two years. In monetary terms, they calculated that for every £1 invested, it adds the equivalent of at least £5 in value to the whole ecosystem (people’s wellbeing, wildlife, plants, soil, water…). We’re always looking at ways to check and evaluate our impact, and to use that to plan our future work for the benefit of the whole community – the people and our wild kin.
