Edinburgh Agroecology Coop is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company – this means all the income is for the benefit of the land and community, not profits for shareholders (there are no shareholders). Some of our activities generate income – eg. the Market Garden. Other areas, eg. the Community Allotments, or habitat restoration work, will always need funding. These generate a different kind of wealth: food sovereignty, health, community resilience, and abundant biodiversity.
