Market Stall
Open every Thursday evening from 4:30pm-6pm throughout the growing season
As well as fresh-picked veg and cut flower bouquets from the Market Garden, we offer wildflower plants grown by our specialist wildflower volunteers, mushrooms grown by Rhyze Mushrooms, herbal remedies from Grass Roots Remedies, and fresh bread from Granton Garden Bakery, and local free range eggs.
Later in the season, land partners Wakibia and Bittakah will be selling African and Asian veg. (Update: sadly, due to the very challenging growing conditions this season, this wasn’t possible in 2024)
The Market Stall is by the Green Portacabin in the community entrance gate at the back of the Toby Carvery car park (EH4 5EX). Click here for directions to the farm.
It is level access (no stairs) from tarmac of the car park onto a rough compacted stone path, suitable for most wheelchairs and mobility scooters. The stall is outdoors on this path, in most weathers.
We can take cash and card payments. Come along for a chat and get your fresh produce straight from the farm!
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Veg Bags
We started our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Veg Bags in July 2023. In 2024, we have nearly doubled the number of bags, and added new options with produce from other local organisations.
Community Supported Agriculture is a membership scheme, where the payments support the farm to grow the food, and then all the members get a fair share of the harvest. At the moment, all our membership places are taken for the 2024 season. We will post here, in our newsletter and on social media when we re-open the list again.
We offer a discounted and solidarity pricing model to make the price more accessible. This booklet has all the details about how it works and what you get:

Potted Wildflower Plants
We have a Wildflower Nursery within the Market Garden, run by dedicated volunteers. If you have a garden or growing space, you can help local wildlife by planting native wildflowers. You can buy our potted wildflower plants from the weekly Market Stall (Thursdays 4:30-6pm). Drop by to browse the selection on the day, or pre-order for collection.
