Birdsong Survey Walk (final walk for 2025)

June brings the last of the 2025 survey walks – please join us if you can.
Every Spring, Professor John Frank leads Birdsong Identification Walks around the periphery of Lauriston Farm. These walks are a survey – to count the bird species on the farm, which is important information for the co-op as we work to increase biodiversity, and John also uploads the survey results to the national Breeding Bird Survey.
You don’t need to know birdsong to be able to attend – John will teach the group how to use the Merlin app for smart phones, so beginners are more than welcome; it’s a great chance to learn. Sign up to join the June survey walk here: https://volunteersignup.org/XCAC3
