Drop-in Volunteering sessions in the Community Allotments and Garden are on Tuesdays and Thursdays 2pm-5pm.
All are welcome, and no experience needed – this is a great place to learn about plants and growing. Come along and get involved whenever you are free.
To get here, come through the gate at the back of the Toby Carvery car park – the allotments are on the right hand side, past the portacabins. Click here to get directions to the farm.
Access notes: It’s level access (no stairs) from the tarmac car park, to a compacted stone path, onto an uneven grassy field. There is a gender neutral, wheelchair accessible, composting toilet within the allotment site.
There are a mix of heavier and lighter jobs to suit different bodies – you can choose what’s right for you on the day, and go at your own pace.
You don’t need to book, but if you have any questions you can email Lisa and Agnes on communityallotments@lauristonfarm.org
Lauriston Farm
We believe the internet should be available and accessible to anyone, and are committed to providing a website that meets the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
We have also added Readabler to the site, which provides a quick and easy way for visitors to adjust how the website looks and behaves.
If you’ve found a malfunction or have ideas for improvement, we’ll be happy to hear from you. You can contact us on info@lauristonfarm.org or talk to us at any drop-in or open day at the farm.
Using Readabler, you can make further adjustments to make the website easier for you to use...
If you would like (a lot) more information on this, click here to go to Readabler's documentation.
We aim to support the widest array of browsers and assistive technologies as possible. Please let us know if you have any problems using the site with your particular browser or assistive technology.
Despite our best efforts to enable anybody to adjust the website to their needs, there may still be pages or sections that are not fully accessible, are in the process of becoming accessible, or are lacking an adequate technological solution to make them accessible.
