Market Garden: Broadcast Sowing

We need your help with broadcast sowing cover crops…
Cover crops are a vital part of regenerative agriculture. They are plants that help improve soil health, crowd out weeds, control pests and diseases, increase biodiversity, and more.
We’ll be ‘broadcast sowing’ cover crops to prepare new areas of the market garden for growing vegetables next year.
‘Broadcast sowing’ is a traditional method of sowing seeds. The seeds are spread by hand across a fairly large area – the more hands the better, so please come along.
We’ll be working as a synchronised team to sow – if you know any good songs to keep rhythm and time as a group, bring them too!
