In this workshop we’ll be using onion skins for this workshop and everyone will leave with an A5 piece of paper, a small sample of onion dyed cloth and the know-how to make more at home.
Save and bring any onion peels / other fibrous plant materials from your own kitchen to experiment with (we’ll also have a stash, so no worries if you don’t have any).
We’ll also be making circular paper with a nifty coffee press to be used at our Worm Appreciation Day in a creative writing badge making workshop.
Adults aged 16+ who are interested in ecological arts.
Experience Level:
This workshop is aimed at beginners and open to all levels of experience.
This workshop is ticketed with a solidarity pricing scheme.
Those who can are encouraged to pay a little more, and those who need it are encouraged to accept a discount. The idea is that by paying on a sliding scale, we hope to foster more justice, equity and diversity in our food system and society.
If you think you might be able to pay a little more for your ticket please ‘offer solidarity’. If you feel that you need a discount please select a discounted or free ticket. There’s no questions asked – it’s available if you feel you need it.
