Come and share the abundance that lies within the beautiful Seed Kist! The Kist contains thousands of seeds saved and collected on the farm and in North Edinburgh as well as commercial seed packets that were surplus to people’s needs. It’s a proper treasure trove. If you have seeds to add to the treasure in the Kist, bring them along but it’s also just fine to come along and take some seeds for your vegetable growing this year.
Look forward to seeing you there. Please choose active travel (walk/wheel/cycle/public transport) if at all possible, rather than driving – for the benefit of all local residents (of all species!).
We will be in the green portacabin near the gate at the back of the Toby Carvery car park.
Access: It’s a compacted stone path to the door of the cabin. There are a couple of steps up into the cabin. We can come out to meet you on the level if needed – please contact us if you would like to make an arrangement, or we can work it out on the day.
(NB this was originally on our calendar as the 27th January but we had to change the date – this is the correct one, and the first seed swap of the year)
