Lauriston Wildflowers have been growing wildflowers in a small plant nursery at Lauriston Farm since 2023. They began as volunteers, with a long-term aim of setting up a co-operative to supply local gardeners with the plants that our region needs – to repair the landscape, bring life to gardens, and bring wildlife back from the brink. They’ve been growing a wide variety of hardy wild plants from day one, while working on setting up all the behind-the-scenes aspects of a co-operative enterprise. And they’ve done it!

Lauriston Wildflowers is now its own independent co-operative, and land partner at the farm.

The Lauriston Wildflowers team are real experts and can advise on plant choices for specific conditions and purposes. They use locally-sourced, pesticide and peat-free growing material, second-hand pots, no heating and minimal watering, so the plants are hardy and the process is environmentally sound.
