Drop-in Volunteering in the Community Allotment & Garden

Find out about our regular drop-in sessions…

A collage of images - four of people with garden tools and vegetables smiling and laughing in the allotments, and a closeup of a barrow of fresh veg. The text is repeated in the post.

We’d love your help in the Community Garden & Allotments. Drop-in volunteering sessions are:

Tuesdays 4pm-6pm
Thursdays 1pm-3pm

This is a thriving community, and newcomers are welcome. You don’t need to have gardening or food growing experience: this is a great opportunity to learn new skills (or hone them if you’ve already begun). There are a mix of jobs – you can choose the ones that are right for you. We meet in most weathers, but it’s meant to be fun, so don’t suffer!

You don’t need to book – just come along and ask for Lisa.

To get here, come through the gate at the back of the Toby Carvery car park – the allotments are on the right hand side, past the portacabins. Click here to get directions to the farm.

Access notes: It’s level access (no stairs) from the tarmac car park, to a compacted stone path, onto an uneven grassy field.
