We are seeking a Financial Expert (individual or organisation) to work with us on a short-term project to improve our financial systems, starting ASAP.

Currently, we manage our finances through a combination of Xero and spreadsheets. It is not streamlined, takes too long to rationalise and is not a transparent system.

We are looking for someone to help us…

Review existing processes, including: 

Expense management

Budget management and tracking

Cashflow management and financial forecasting

Reporting

Design and implement a new system and process

Train team on new system

The new system should be:

Quick and simple to manage

Fully transparent

Follow best management practices for Co-operative financial management and participatory budgeting

Be based on making best use of Xero

You could make a big difference to our everyday functioning and our long-term development.

We would gratefully accept pro bono work or a non-commercial rate, if you are able to offer this as a way of supporting the farm project. However, we consider this an important investment for the long-term, so we are seeking a formal arrangement, not a favour, and are preparing a budget for this.
