Highlights From the Wildlife Cameras

Some nice captures from the camera at the pond – teal & mallards flying in, and a fox having a drink…

Mallards flying down onto a pond

We have wildlife cameras in various positions around the farm, as part of our biodiversity monitoring. These two highlights both come from the ponds, which is a timely reminder of how important it is to have clean drinking water available for wildlife. We have big plans for water on the farm – some of which will take a while to come to fruition, but we’re already several ponds richer than we were (though still working on getting the ecosystems established – click here to read why it’s important to keep dogs out of the ponds).

Please enjoy watching some of our resident wildlife using the water…

We’re always interested in your wildlife spots. You can log sightings on our project on iNaturalist to help with our biodiversity monitoring and conservation efforts.
