Free Dandelion Festival events this week

Free workshops for Dandelion festival this week…

Monday 15th 6-8pm
Percussion Crewe workshops

Over four workshops with musician Jose Rojas, you can learn African and Latin American percussion rhythms to join AMAzing Harmonies Choir, the kids AMAzing Cajons group, Granton Youth’s Music Group and the sikuris collective (a group of Latin American sikuris players) to perform at the Harvest Festival on 10 September.
No previous experience needed. Instruments provided. Free to attend. For ages 14+

Thursday 18th August 2-4pm
Art in the Garden with Komachi Goto

Drop in drawing sessions in the open air – taking inspiration from the surrounding nature, plants, found objects, stunning landscape and sea views. No booking needed – just come along. Materials are provided (or you can bring your own).

Thursday 18th August 6-8pm
Open Music Sessions

Hosted by musician Shea M. and a special guest – with the option this week to cross over into the Cranky Theatre Show music-making open rehearsal, 6:30-8:30pm
Come along and enjoy listening or join in and play – some instruments provided or bring your own. No need to book.
All welcome! All experience levels and musical styles.

Saturday 20th 11am-1pm or 2-4pm
Collaborative Frame Basket Making

Learn the skill of frame basket making from Anna Liebmann, and help create a stock of harvest baskets for the farm, which we will use for many years to come.
You can join us for one session or the whole day. Booking is essential – please click here to reserve your free place (and let us know if you change your mind so someone else can get the space).

All ages welcome (under 14s with an adult).
