Recruiting for a new Farm Co-ordinator

Part-time (3 day-a-week) role in the co-op for a new Farm Co-ordinator with project management experience…

Photo of the Community Garden at Lauriston Farm, with a metal arch at the entrance and a sign that reads 'Wonder, Wander, Wilder'. Beyond that, herbacous plants, a curving path, and views of the Firth of Forth in the background. The text reads: 'we are seeking a new farm co-ordinator. Is this your new workplace?'

We are seeking a second Farm Co-ordinator. Charlotte has left for a new role, so we have an exciting opportunity for someone to come in and join us.

We’re looking for someone with good project management experience and the skills, including fundraising, to help us grow the project and deliver on our ambition to be a sustainable model for other urban community farms.

The new co-ordinator will work closely with the existing co-ordinator (Rob) and the other co-op members in a rich variety of tasks.

This is a rare opportunity to join a workers co-operative with a horizontal structure and be involved in the creation of a sustainable project designed to tackle biodiversity loss and food inequalities.

We welcome applications from people who are under-represented in farming and horticulture. Your experience in running projects is more important for this role than a background in farming. We look forward to hearing from you.
