Rhyze Mushrooms Coop at Lauriston Farm

We’re happy to share the news that Rhyze Mushrooms Coop will be moving to Lauriston Farm in 2024.

For those who don’t know, Rhyze is a community mushroom farm and education project. They grow delicious mushrooms year round on waste like sawdust from local carpenters and used coffee from cafes that would otherwise end up in landfill.

They have been based at Fountainbridge, but that site was always temporary, so they’re moving in with us! Like Grassroots Remedies, they will still be their own independent organisation – they are renting space at the farm – and we will be able to support each other and work together too.

Rhyze would like to hear from you as they plan their move and a new year of workshops and events. Please spare a moment to fill in their community consultation:
