John Frank, a Lauriston Farm volunteer with long experience birding, will lead four systematic BREEDING BIRD CENSUS walks around the farm on the following dates, and welcomes any local birders, or other volunteers interested in learning the common bird songs we will hear/see and record (using the standard British Trust for Ornithology census methodology):

March 19 (7 am): Reckie and CENSUS 1
April 2 (7 am) : CENSUS 2
April 30 (6 am): CENSUS 3June 11 (5 am) CENSUS 4
