Wheat 

We have the Great Granton Wheat growing at the farm! This is part of a trial crop, with other heritage grains including oat, barley and rye. These were all sown by the community in the winter of 2022-2023, in partnership with Granton Community Gardeners, the James Hutton Institute, and other agroecology projects.

Flax

We are part of the Innovative Farmers Field Lab, trialling growing flax for textiles. Click here to read the Soil Association article about the project.

Willow

Local basketweaver Anna Liebmann has started a plot of willow on the farm – for use in weaving.
