Our Grains: Threshing Time

Participate in hand threshing our History of Wheat plot, with Edinburgh Agroecology Co-op and Granton Community Gardeners…

We have a selection of grains that were harvested over the last month from our History of Wheat plot. We need hands to help thresh and winnow them from their ears. Come along, lend us your hands and learn about why we grow heritage grain crops and what we are learning from the grains along the way, as well as about our wider plans for grain production at the farm. No experience needed – we can teach you the skills.

We’ll also have some tasters of the various grains for you to try.
